PNP reports zero active COVID cases for first time

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported zero active COVID-19 cases among its personnel for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

As of Tuesday, April 12, 2022, all remaining active cases have been tagged as recovered, making the PNP 'COVID-free'.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the PNP has recorded a total of 48,861 COVID-19 cases, with 48,732 recoveries and 129 deaths.

PNP Chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos emphasized the importance of continued vigilance and reminded personnel to maintain health practices and regular medical check-ups.
