PNP reports no new cases; recoveries top 42K

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported no new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, with active cases remaining at 45.

Nine recoveries were recorded, bringing the total number of recoveries to 42,028 out of a total of 42,198 confirmed infections since the start of the pandemic.

The death toll remains unchanged at 125, while fully vaccinated PNP personnel stand at 93.52 percent or 211,176 individuals.

In Bicol, nearly all police officers are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with 98.38 percent of the region's police force having received two doses.
