PNP seeks Quiboloy in bunker, protesters clash

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that fugitive doomsday preacher Apollo Quiboloy may be hiding in an underground bunker within his Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City.

Ground-penetrating radar detected multiple heartbeats inside the bunker, suggesting Quiboloy's presence there and indicating signs of life spanning 20-30 meters.

Supporters of Quiboloy are protesting and blocking a major road from the Davao International Airport to prevent access by police forces.

Three protesters were arrested for obstructing justice and assaulting police officers during the rally, resulting in injuries to six policemen.

Protesters are also demanding President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s resignation as part of their demonstration against police activities at the compound.

This is the third day that PNP officers have been stationed outside the KOJC compound to implement an arrest warrant for Quiboloy who faces charges including child and sexual abuse, and human trafficking.
