PNP completes forensic exam on phones of Percy Lapid gunman, middleman's sister

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has completed a digital forensic examination on the mobile phones of confessed gunman Joel Escorial and the sister of the alleged middleman involved in the fatal ambush of broadcaster Percy Lapid.

The results of this analysis will be submitted to the prosecutor's office as additional evidence in the case.

Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, PNP spokesperson, confirmed that conversations recorded on the phones and bank transactions related to the killing are being pieced together during the investigation.
