PNP chief Torre acknowledges internal conflicts but says they are resolved

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief General Nicolas Torre III acknowledged on Monday that internal conflicts exist within the organization but expressed confidence they will be resolved internally.

During a flag raising ceremony at Camp Crame in Quezon City, Torre reminded officers of their loyalty to the people and the country, noting recent challenges have strengthened their resolve.

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) had issued Resolution 2025-0531 ordering Torre to reverse reassignments of top officials but he described these as administrative issues already resolved within the organization.

Torre attributed resolution through dialogue and mutual understanding among public servants, asserting that the PNP considers the matter closed and wants to move forward.

Napolcom's resolution would nullify recent changes involving several high-ranking PNP officers and instructed their reinstatement or transfer back to previous positions.
