PNP offers PHP 14M reward for arrest of Quiboloy and four others

The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced on Tuesday that informants will receive PHP 14 million in rewards for information leading to the arrests of Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and four others.

During a press briefing, PNP spokesperson Jean Fajardo stated that PHP 10 million is offered for Quiboloy's arrest, while PHP 1 million each will be given for the other accused, including Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada, and Sylvia Cemanes.

An anonymous tipster who informed Davao City police about Paulene Canada’s whereabouts received a PHP 1 million reward in July, Interior chief Benjamin Abalos Jr. confirmed.

Quiboloy surrendered on Sunday after being given a 24-hour ultimatum by authorities and was detained inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) compound along with his co-accused.

Arrest warrants were issued for Quiboloy and others for alleged violations of child protection laws, human trafficking, and other charges.

The PNP spokesperson noted that informants played a crucial role in facilitating the arrests and emphasized the importance of their contributions to law enforcement.
