PNP: 224 NCR areas under granular lockdown

As of Friday, October 1, 2021, the number of areas under granular lockdown in Metro Manila increased from 219 to 224.

These areas are located in 123 barangays and include various types such as houses, residential buildings, subdivisions, streets, and others.

The PNP has deployed at least 573 personnel and 663 force multipliers to ensure security and adherence to health standards.

Local government units decide on imposing and lifting lockdowns based on the presence of COVID-19 cases.

On Thursday, September 30, the Inter-Agency Task Force extended the pilot implementation of the Alert Levels System in Metro Manila until October 15.
