NCR granular lockdown areas drop to 233

As of Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 233 areas in Metro Manila are under granular lockdown, down from 239 the previous day.

The affected areas include houses, residential buildings, streets, and subdivisions across 148 barangays.

PNP has deployed 733 personnel and 791 force multipliers to enforce health standards and security in these areas.

Local government units decide on imposing and lifting granular lockdowns based on the presence of one COVID-19 case.
