PLDT advances to PVL quarterfinals with win over Nxled

PLDT advanced to the PVL on Tour quarterfinals with a decisive victory over Nxled by scores of 25-11, 25-17, and 25-21 at the USJ-R Coliseum in Cebu City.

Kiesha Bedonia led PLDT with a game-high 15 points off 10 kills, three blocks, and two aces, while Majoy Baron contributed eight of her 13 points in the second set.

PLDT now leads Pool A with a perfect 4-0 record, pushing Nxled down to 3-1, as PLDT outperformed their opponents in blocking (13 to 5) and service aces (5 to 0).

Kianna Dy, who recently returned from injury, added nine points on her birthday.

PLDT head coach Rald Ricafort expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and rotation of players, looking forward to maintaining their momentum in future matches.

PLDT aims for a Pool A sweep against Galeries on Sunday at 4 p.m., while Nxled seeks to regain its winning form against Farm Fresh on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
