Kianna Dy leads PLDT to victory despite injury

On Sunday, July 27, Kianna Dy helped the PLDT High Speed Hitters defeat the Galeries Tower Highrisers with a score of 25-20, 25-14, 25-17 in Cebu City.

Dy, who has been recovering from a right knee injury for over a year, scored 12 points through attacks to contribute to her team's fifth consecutive win and maintain their unbeaten status in the Premier Volleyball League on Tour.

Despite the victory, Dy emphasized the need for continued improvement as the tournament progresses.

Mika Reyes and Jovielyn Prado also made significant contributions with 10 points each.

The Galeries Tower Highrisers finished the group stage winless but still have a chance to advance through alternative pathways.

PLDT has secured their place in the quarterfinals alongside sister team Cignal.
