CHED repatriates 13 Filipino students from coronavirus-hit countries

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has successfully repatriated thirteen Filipino students from Vietnam, Japan, and the UK back to the Philippines during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Five BS in Hospitality Management students from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University who were interns in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam have returned to La Union for a 14-day quarantine.

Another five Aklan State University students who were in Hokkaido, Japan under an international internship program arrived on March 26 and are also in quarantine.

Three faculty/staff members of the University of the Philippines Los Baños who were scholars at the University of Reading in the UK have completed their 14-day self-quarantine period since arriving on March 18.
