Philippines resumes vax drive until Dec. 28

The government is continuing its 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan' massive vaccination rollout against COVID-19 in Negros Oriental until Dec. 28.

Due to Typhoon Odette, the drive will be suspended in affected areas but will resume in regions with capability to conduct activities.

As of Monday, around 2.5 million doses have been administered nationwide during the second round of the vaccination drive from Dec. 15-18.

The DOH and NTF are assessing vaccine storage facilities in typhoon-hit areas; so far, no cold storage facilities or vaccines have been damaged in Luzon and Mindanao.
