Philippines receives 3M Sinovac doses, eyes booster shots

The Philippines received three million additional doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines on Sunday night, bringing the country closer to its goal of 100 million doses by month's end.

Two million doses were procured by the government while one million was donated by China.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. stated that these additional doses are part of preparations for booster shots recently approved by the Department of Health, which will be offered to health workers, senior citizens, and those with comorbidities or compromised immune systems.
