Philippines' 1st nCoV case tests negative, recovering

A 38-year-old Chinese woman, the Philippines' first confirmed case of novel coronavirus, has tested negative and is recovering.

However, two consecutive negative tests are required before she can be discharged; her most recent test on February 6 was negative but a second test is pending.

Her partner, who also tested positive for nCoV, died last weekend in the Philippines, becoming the first fatality outside of China where over 600 have already died.
