Philippines reports 1,928 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

As of Sunday, February 14, the Philippines reported a total of 549,176 COVID-19 cases with 1,928 new infections.

The death toll rose to 11,515 after eight new fatalities were recorded, while recoveries increased to 511,743 following 10,967 more patients recovering from the virus.

Active cases stood at 25,918 with 62% of ICU beds and 80% of mechanical ventilators available for use.

On February 11, the DOH reported 1,734 new infections, raising the total to 543,282, along with 68 additional deaths bringing the death toll to 11,469 and recoveries reaching 500,335.

The data also showed that ICU beds were 61% available while mechanical ventilators were 80% ready for use.
