PH coordinates with US firms for COVID-19 vaccine

The Philippine government is coordinating with American pharmaceutical firms, including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Moderna, to secure a portion of the COVID-19 vaccine supply once it becomes available for export.

Ambassador Jose Manuel Romualdez stated during a briefing that the embassy has been lining up to ensure the Philippines will be ready when the vaccines are available.

Romualdez emphasized that securing these vaccines is part of global cooperation and many Filipinos are relying on them.
