Palace claims PH managing COVID well despite Bloomberg's 46th ranking

Malacañang claims that the Philippines is managing the COVID-19 outbreak 'very well' despite a Bloomberg study ranking the country 46th out of 53 in terms of handling the pandemic.

Bloomberg's assessment was based on metrics such as increase in cases, mortality rate, healthcare system capacity, and community mobility.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque disputes the accuracy of the report, citing a relatively low mortality rate for COVID-19 and small percentage of severe and critical cases.

The study ranked New Zealand at the top due to its swift response to the virus.
