Philippine experts studying vaccine brand mixing due to shortages

Philippine health experts are studying the possibility of mixing different brands of COVID-19 vaccines due to supply shortages.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire stated on Wednesday that there is currently no recommendation from experts to mix vaccine brands, citing insufficient evidence.

Dr. Nina Gloriani noted that while there may be no immunological issues with mixing brands, the Vaccine Expert Panel needs to establish guidelines before making a final decision.
