PCG monitors over 273K seaport travelers on All Souls' Day

Over 273,695 travelers passed through seaports nationwide on All Souls' Day (November 2), according to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

On Sunday, an additional 149,300 outbound and 141,036 inbound passengers were monitored in all ports by the PCG.

The PCG reported that over 1,000 passengers booked trips for Friday, higher than the 386 on Thursday.

More than half a million vehicles are expected to travel the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to Metro Manila from the provinces.

NLEX also reports an increase in vehicle volume expected tonight until early Monday morning, with zipper or counterflow lanes ready if traffic gets heavier.
