Galeries Tower secures last semis spot, faces Growling Tigresses

Galeries Tower secured the last semifinals slot in the 2025 Women's Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Invitational Tournament by defeating Philippine Navy, 80-67, on Wednesday evening at Enderun Gym.

UST advanced to the semifinals after winning against New Zealand-Bluefire, while Discovery Perlas and Pilipinas Aguilas qualified for the semifinals by beating Far Eastern University and Cavite-TOL respectively.

Galeries Tower's Cindy Resultay scored 27 points with six rebounds, three assists, and four steals in their comeback win over Navy.

The Skyrisers will face Pool B top seed Growling Tigresses in the semifinals on Sunday at 4 p.m. at New Era Gym, while Discovery Perlas will go up against second-seeded Pilipinas Aguilas at 6 p.m.
