PH Navy ships depart India with face masks, repatriated tourists

Two Philippine Navy ships, BRP Davao Del Sur and BRP Ramon Alcaraz, departed India on Thursday after completing their mission to repatriate 18 Filipino tourists and collect 200,000 donated face masks.

The ships are expected to arrive in the Philippines by the end of May.

Upon arrival in India, the medical team conducted thorough disinfection, thermal scanning, and vital sign checks for the repatriates who were determined to be coronavirus negative but still monitored closely.
