Philippine courts limit operations amid COVID-19

Philippine courts will operate with a reduced staff from March 15 to April 12, 2020, as precaution against COVID-19.

Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta suspended all court hearings from Mar 13 to 18 and ordered judges to reset hearing schedules.

SC issued guidelines limiting visitors to courts; only those with official business allowed entry after thermal scanning and filling out a declaration form.

Courts will remain open for essential functions, but personnel are advised to take health precautions.
