Police seize P952K worth of shabu in two ops

Anti-illegal drug operatives in Antipolo City seized P680,000 worth of shabu from a major drug trafficker on Monday, Aug. 5.

In another operation on Wednesday night, Aug. 7, police arrested two suspects and confiscated shabu worth about P272,000 in General Mariano Alvarez town in Cavite province.

During the buy-bust operation, 'Jay,'32, and 'Vivian,'49 were detained after selling shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay F. De Castro.

The police seized 40 grams of shabu from the suspects and are investigating the source of the illegal drugs, as both individuals are on the local drug watch list.

'Alex' remains detained in Antipolo City facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while 'Jay' and 'Vivian' have been detained at the Cavite police jail.
