Philippine cities lead in COVID-19 vaccinations

More than half of Bacoor's eligible adult population is now fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with 52% fully vaccinated and 83% having received at least one dose.

Bacoor was recognized as the fourth highest city in total doses administered during a three-day vaccination drive from November 29 to December 1.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. noted that Bacoor's active cases have dropped significantly, with only 19 cases currently reported compared to around 3,000-3,500 cases during the surge in Cavite.

In Bacolod, 86.76% of its target population has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of December 6, with 69% fully vaccinated and 17.82% partially vaccinated.

Bacolod surpassed its three-day vaccination target during 'Bayanihan, Bakunahan' from November 29 to December 1, administering almost 7 percent more doses than the goal.
