PH COVID-19 cases breach 380K, recoveries reach 331K

As of Saturday, October 31, the Philippines' total COVID-19 cases reached 380,729 with 1,803 new infections.

The DOH reported that recoveries increased by 606 to a total of 331,046, while deaths rose to 7,221 with 36 new fatalities.

Active cases stood at 42,462, with 83.2% showing mild symptoms and 11.3% asymptomatic.

On Friday, October 30, the DOH reported that 87.2% of total cases had recovered, with 636 new recoveries and 2,006 new infections.

The highest number of new infections were in Batangas (124), Cavite (121), Quezon City (105), Rizal (89), and Bulacan (81).

As of Wednesday, October 28, recoveries rose to 329,111 with 540 new cases recovering, while active cases were at 38,955.
