317 Filipinos repatriated from Lebanon

A total of 317 Filipino nationals were repatriated from Beirut, Lebanon to Manila via a special chartered flight on Saturday.

This was the fifth such repatriation flight since June and brings the total number of Filipinos returned from Lebanon since December 2019 to 2,596.

The mission, ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte after his address at the United Nations General Assembly, also included a goodwill delivery of food supplies for Filipino communities in Lebanon and medical aid to local hospitals and NGOs.
