PH Covid-19 recoveries rise to 2,561,248

The Philippines' recovery tally from Covid-19 has risen to 2,561,248 on Tuesday, with an additional 25,146 patients recovering.

Active cases have decreased to 82,228, accounting for only 3.7% of total infections.

New cases reported on Tuesday were 8,615 and the death toll increased by 236 to a total of 39,896.

The DOH also noted that recoveries now account for 95.4% of all recorded infections since the start of the pandemic.

There were no duplicates or reclassifications affecting the recovery count on Tuesday.
