PH reports 500 more COVID-19 recoveries

On Thursday, January 21, the Philippines reported 500 more recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total recovery tally to 467,475.

The Department of Health also recorded 1,783 new cases and 74 deaths, increasing the active case count to 30,126 and the death toll to 10,116.

Quezon City had the highest number of new infections with 99 cases, followed by Rizal, Manila, Bulacan, and Cavite.

Five duplicate cases were removed from the total case count, while 15 previously reported recoveries were reclassified as deaths.
