PH active cases drop to 17,052

As of Saturday, November 27, the country's active coronavirus cases dropped to 17,052 with 1,667 new recoveries and only 899 new infections.

This marks the fourth consecutive day where daily new infections are below 1,000.

The total number of recovered patients increased to 2,765,920 while at least 188 deaths pushed the overall death toll to 48,205.

On Wednesday, November 24, the DOH reported the lowest active cases this year at 17,864 with 890 new infections and 200 additional fatalities.

The total number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic stands at 2.83 million where approximately 0.6% are currently undergoing treatment.
