UST Golden Tigresses' Pepito, Perdido commit for fifth year

Detdet Pepito and Jonna Perdido have committed to their fifth and final year with the UST Golden Tigresses in UAAP Season 88 after days of contemplation.

IPEA Director Fr. Rodel Cansancio expressed his gratitude for their decision, emphasizing the importance of their academic achievements and commitment to the program.

Pepito and Perdido's return is expected to strengthen UST's chances as they aim to finish some unfinished business after finishing third in Season 87.

Perdido's return is particularly significant given her absence due to a knee injury during Season 87, which saw the team miss out on the Final Four following a loss to La Salle Lady Spikers.

Both players met with Fr. Cansancio at his UST office to confirm their commitment and noted that Pepito will graduate with an elementary education degree while Perdido is finishing her fitness and sports management program this June.
