PDP-Laban denies authorizing Duterte for VP

The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) on Friday denied authorizing a resolution urging President Rodrigo Duterte to run for vice president in the 2022 elections.

Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao, acting national president of PDP-Laban, stated that he did not sanction the resolution and emphasized the party's focus should be on helping the poor during the pandemic.

Deputy Speaker Eric Martinez clarified that the circulating resolution is only a draft and stressed that any important decisions will be made collectively by the party.
