PBA waits for Brownlee's drug test sanctions

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is waiting for any sanctions to be imposed on Barangay Ginebra's import Justin Brownlee, who tested positive for Carboxy-THC during the Asian Games.

Brownlee could face a two-year ban from Fiba-sanctioned tournaments, preventing him from participating in this year’s Commissioner’s Cup and Governors’ Cup.

Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua said the player is resting in the US with his family, and the team is on 'wait-and-see' mode until they receive official sanctions.
