Danny Seigle named one of PBA's 50 Greatest Players

San Miguel icon Danny Seigle was honored to be named one of the PBA's 50 Greatest Players during the league's golden anniversary celebration on Friday.

Seigle, an eight-time PBA champion and four-time Finals Most Valuable Player, expressed his privilege to join such a distinguished group alongside fellow Beermen great June Mar Fajardo.

The event took place at Solaire Resort North in Quezon City, where Seigle also reunited with former teammate Danny Ildefonso and mentor Jeff Cariaso.

Ildefonso emphasized the deserving nature of Seigle's inclusion, stating that it was 'finally' happening for both Seigle and Nelson Asaytono.

Seigle acknowledged the process and election committee while expressing his satisfaction at being included in this elite roster alongside other PBA icons such as Bong Hawkins, Abe King, Scottie Thompson, Arnie Tuadles, Manny Victorino, and Yoyoy Villamin.
