PBA gets green light for practices

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) received government approval to resume practices in areas under general community quarantine or modified general community quarantine.

This includes scrimmages starting as early as May 18, with stricter health protocols such as two RT-PCR tests before players can enter practice venues.

The PBA is eyeing Batangas City as a potential site for these practices and has secured three venues: the Batangas City Coliseum, Batangas State University Gym, and Lyceum-Batangas.

Additionally, the country's hosting of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers in June at Clark City in Angeles, Pampanga was also approved under a 'bubble' setting.
