PBA eyes Batangas City for season launch

The PBA is considering launching its delayed 46th season in Batangas City once the government gives approval.

Batangas City has committed to providing venues like the Batangas City Coliseum and Batangas State University Gym for team practices.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial expressed interest in playing one conference there for a month or two if allowed by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

Marcial is scheduled to meet with Batangas City Mayor Beverley Dimacuha and Rep. Marvey Mariño on Friday to finalize details.

Teams like San Miguel Beer and TNT are exploring training options in Batangas City due to ongoing restrictions in Metro Manila.
