PAL warns against fake COVID-19 test results

Philippine Airlines (PAL) warned passengers against using fake COVID-19 test results at airports on Monday.

At least 15 individuals were prevented from boarding flights in Manila and were turned over to the Philippine National Police for presenting fraudulent test results.

Passengers caught with fake test results could face fines of up to P50,000 or serve a maximum of six months in jail.

PAL emphasized that authentic COVID-19 test results must be obtained from legitimate medical providers to ensure safe travel.
