IATF suspends inbound international flights until May 8

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has approved suspending all inbound international flights until May 8.

Exempted from this ban are official, emergency, cargo, ambulance and medical supply, weather mitigation, maintenance flights, and flights for stranded foreign nationals.

The decision to restrict flight operations was made by the National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 on Sunday, May 3, to decongest quarantine facilities.

NAIA announced a temporary suspension of all commercial/passenger flights starting May 3 at 8 am to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
