Pasig starts P8K aid for residents missed by national SAP

Pasig City started distributing supplemental financial assistance on Tuesday for residents not covered by the national government's Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

Mayor Vico Sotto announced that families in need will receive P8,000 each.

The city began its pilot run of the distribution in five barangays: Malinao, San Antonio, Sagad, Santa Rosa, and Buting.

Sotto emphasized that the supplemental SAP aims to help those who were not included in the national government's list.
