Pasay barangay under total lockdown, soldiers deployed

Pasay City's Barangay 178 Maricaban is under a total lockdown after residents defied stay-at-home orders during the enhanced community quarantine.

Despite having only three confirmed COVID-19 cases, local officials imposed strict measures due to residents' resistance.

Soldiers were deployed on Wednesday morning to help enforce social distancing and monitor streets.

Locals are given just two hours daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to buy food and medicines.
