Paolo Duterte apologizes over son bypassing grocery queue

First District Rep. Paolo Duterte apologized for his son Omar's failure to follow quarantine protocols when visiting an SNR grocery store in Davao.

Omar bypassed the queue, avoiding the stringent screening requirements including temperature checks and sanitization procedures.

Duterte labeled the incident as unfortunate given the current health emergency and promised that Omar's impertinence would be dealt with accordingly.

The alleged misconduct of the security team accompanying Omar is also under investigation by the Presidential Security Group.
