PAOCC raids Fontana Leisure Parks, uncovers POGO hub ties

On Thursday evening, authorities raided five villas within Fontana Leisure Parks in Mabalacat, Pampanga as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub.

The raid was conducted by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), targeting individuals who had escaped from previous operations at Lucky South 99 Corp. and were believed to be hiding in Fontana Leisure Parks.

One of the raided villas is reportedly occupied by Huang Zhiyang, a Chinese fugitive and alleged business partner of Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo; however, Huang managed to evade capture after receiving advance warning of the raid.

Documents bearing the names of Zhang Ruijin and Lin Baoying, both linked to the POGO hub in Bamban and now detained in Singapore for money laundering, were found during the raid.

Authorities also discovered torture devices and conducted welfare checks on 19 rescued foreigners, releasing all but one suspected boss from the POGO hub.

The raids have uncovered alleged uniforms belonging to the Chinese military and raised concerns about human trafficking, prostitution, and other illegal activities within these facilities.
