San Carlos tightens quarantine amid rising cases

San Carlos City will implement stricter quarantine protocols starting May 10 amid an increase in COVID-19 cases.

The new measures include enforcing market schedules, re-imposing border checkpoints within the city, and prohibiting contact sports and non-essential mass gatherings.

Mayor Julier Resuello warned residents to follow health protocols or face a potential lockdown, citing rising case numbers and four recent deaths.

Resuello is also encouraging active participation in the vaccination survey conducted by the city health office to determine vaccine eligibility.
