Palace urges health protocols amid airborne COVID-19 claims

Malacañang on Friday urged Filipinos to continue adhering to public health protocols like mask-wearing and social distancing amid claims that COVID-19 can spread through the air.

Harry Roque, presidential spokesperson, emphasized the need for vulnerable populations such as senior citizens, those with comorbidities, and pregnant women to stay at home to protect their lives.

Roque's statement came after the World Health Organization acknowledged Thursday that the virus may be transmitted in crowded indoor spaces.
