Malacañang orders task force to add 5M more families for cash aid

Malacañang ordered the national coronavirus task force to include an additional five million households as beneficiaries of the second tranche of emergency cash aid.

These 5 million households will be added to the initial 12 million low-income families who received assistance through the Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.

The memo, dated May 12, was issued by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
