Palace criticizes Sison for comments on Duterte's COVID-19 ceasefire

The Palace criticized Communist Party of the Philippines founding chairman Jose Maria Sison's comments regarding President Rodrigo Duterte's ceasefire declaration amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Panelo called Sison's remarks 'insensitive' and said they highlight his 'perverted vision of reality'.

Sison had questioned the timing and sincerity of the government’s unilateral ceasefire, which took effect on March 19 and will last until April 15.
