PAL, AirAsia increase Holy Week flight frequencies

Local carriers Philippine Airlines (PAL) and AirAsia Philippines are increasing flight frequencies for Holy Week.

PAL will increase flights between Manila and Bacolod to five daily starting April 8, and between Manila and Basco, Batanes to twice weekly starting April 11.

AirAsia Philippines increased its weekly flight frequency by 30% month-on-month to accommodate the surge in bookings, with Caticlan increasing to 41 times weekly from 34, Iloilo to 28 times from 14, and other destinations seeing similar increases.
