Filipina golfers Pagdanganan, Ardina finish T35, T38; Japanese rookie Iwai wins

Filipina golfer Bianca Pagdanganan finished joint 35th with a final round of one-under 71, while Dottie Ardina tied for 38th after posting her best score in the tournament with a bogey-free 67 on Sunday.

Pagdanganan's performance included an eagle, three birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey, finishing at eight-under 280 overall.

Ardina struggled earlier but closed out strong to finish at 281 total shots, earning $13,220 (about P754,313) for Pagdanganan and $10,574 (about P603,336) for Ardina in her first made cut of the season.

Japanese rookie Akie Iwai won the tournament with a final round 64, finishing at 24-under 264 to claim her maiden LPGA Tour victory three months after her twin sister Chisato's triumph in Mexico.
