Philippines to see scattered rains and isolated storms due to three weather systems

Cloudy skies and scattered rains with isolated thunderstorms are expected across the Philippines on Wednesday due to three weather systems, according to PAGASA.

Metro Manila and Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur will have cloudy skies with rainshowers due to the same system.

Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga will see cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms because of a shear line.

The Davao Region will encounter cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms influenced by easterlies while the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

As of 2 p.m. on February 26, PAGASA reports no pressure areas being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
