Northeast Monsoon, easterlies bring cloudy skies, isolated rains

Two weather systems continue to bring cloudy conditions and isolated light rains across several parts of the Philippines on Thursday, February 27.

The Northeast Monsoon will affect Northern and Central Luzon with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated light rains, while easterlies will impact Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and other areas with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns residents in Mindanao, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Southern Leyte about possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains from the easterlies.

Moderate to strong winds and rough coastal waters are expected in the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will be observed elsewhere.

Temperatures range from a minimum of 21.4°C to a maximum of 30.9°C over the next 24-hour period.
