PAGASA warns of rain, possible flash floods in Bicol, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas due to LPA

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued an updated weather advisory for Monday predicting overcast skies with rain showers across several regions due to a low pressure area (LPA) and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ).

Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, and Batangas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as the LPA moves west-northwest of Coron, Palawan.

Moderate to heavy rains in these areas could result in flash floods or landslides, PAGASA warned.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will see isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Elsewhere in the country, isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected due to the ITCZ.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are forecast across the archipelago.
